What People Are Saying
from Google"Great spot for a coffee break with a good pastry. Mostly the outdoor seating, but they have small tables inside as well"
"I'm so happy that Friends & Family opened up an outpost in Silver Lake! It's wonderful to have such quality, unique, and delicious baked goods in the neighborhood. The space feels brighter and more open than before, and I really appreciate how they've transformed the patio into a much more communal and inviting space that's better shared with their neighbor, Burgers Never Say Die 🍔. It feels like a perfect spot to sit with one's book or laptop and stay awhile or to meet with friends or colleagues. The spot has become a part of my regular neighborhood circuit with my 18-month-old. We love walking here to enjoy a croissant together and say hi to the friendly staff"
"Lovely spot! Lots of pastries & good coffee. Plenty outdoor seating & parking available. Barista was super friendly :) will be back!"
"This was my first time at this location. I usually buy baked goods from their East Hollywood location. I’ve been buying their sourdough for a long time now - definitely my favorite bread. I picked up two loaves from Silverlake location today for the holidays (East Hollywood was out) and later discovered that they were not fresh. Seems like they were baked the day before. I don’t know what’s that about but it’s very disappointing. Sorry, but I am expecting more out of $12 loaf of bread."
"Great spot with delicious coffee and food. Huge lacking in vibes, negative energy and nowhere to sit and enjoy yourself. It’s very cold, uninviting, not a place to set up and do work. All of the coffees also come in one size (small) and prices don’t really reflect that. I think they need to create a more inviting energy and work out the pretentiousness. But the pastries are supreme, outstanding."
