"Heavy Water is a brand new tiny coffee shop in Echo Park, LA. They offer a modest selection of coffee, tea, specialties and pastries. Moreover, they have some merch and coffee bags for sale. I arrived on a first Friday of the year 2026. It was a sunny cool morning and I was perfunctorily greeted by a young white lad. After perusing their menu, I ordered a classic Hot Latte. It was sublime! Prices seem fair. Service was spot on. Staff was competent and affable. Interior atmosphere was relaxing, however, not very spacious. Indoor/Outdoor seats are limited. Street parking only. Overall, I liked my latte and very satisfied with their service. I recommend them."

"Great new coffee spot. What separates this place apart from the rest is the high quality ingredients and attention to detail. My go to is a pour over or filter coffee here but the PSL & matcha are unmatched. Highly recommend. Oh, and they have a cool garden hang-out spot in the back with plenty of tables to sit at. It reminds me of this European open-market back in Sweden. Great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and just vibe."
