What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"First time diner, long time fan of Father G and his work with Homeboy and Homegirl. The food was outstanding! Chilaquiles that keeps crunchy til the last bite! Excellent tacos! And as my grandmother said about the chile rellano grilled cheese, “that is the best sandwich I’ve eaten in my life!”"
"I had such a great experience at Homegirl Café! The chilaquiles were full of flavor. Carnitas were very delicious. The breakfast burrito was also absolutely delicious. My waitress was so sweet; she even took me to see where all the pastries are made! I tried the cheese Danish, and it was amazing too. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Definitely recommend this spot for a delicious breakfast and great service!"
"Server at our table was great! Very detailed. She rounded up the staff to come sing Happy Birthday 🎂 to my daughter & brought her a yummy chocolate mini cake! They have an awesome gift shop with specialty items all made by their staff. Proceeds of sales go back to help run the Café. Its truly inspiring being there. I picked up ground coffee made w/orange peels, cinnamon, vanilla flavors. I highly recommend!"
"Love what they’re doing here. Service and food alone were worth it. First time getting to try the cafe and I would absolutely come back. Went for brunch on a weekday and parking was full. Street parking is available though."
"From the friendly staff, to the food and service! Everyone that helped and greeted us was amazing! Thank you to our server Stephanie and the gentleman who got us our pastries. We also got the Horchata & Mazapán iced coffee, and the cafe de olla it was so delicious."
