What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Well known as the diner where Reservoir Dogs was filmed this place has been on my list to try for quite some time. I stopped in for my first time this past weekend and was very impressed. I love a great diner so have been wanting to stop here for a long time and can confirm the food and the service is worth the visit. The food quality is honestly great and I would go here for the biscuits alone. They are some of the largest, most fluffy, and delicious biscuits I’ve ever had in LA. They have a large parking lot with free parking and service was very fast and friendly. It is slightly pricier than some other diners, but not by much and still worth the cost. For my first time I ordered my favorite breakfast dish which is Eggs Benedict, and thought it was great. The hollandaise was homemade, the eggs were perfectly runny, and it just had some great flavors. As mentioned, I ordered a side Biscuit with gravy and the thing was absolutely huge. Not only was it giant, but it was also very fluffy and delicious and honestly was probably the best biscuit I have had this entire year. P&L’s is a fantastic retro diner and a part of LA history. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast or lunch option, or any diner fan."
"This has a special place in my heart. Not only was Resivore Dogs here, but my family and I have been coming here for years.. I haven't been here in 15 years cause I moved away. The corned beef and hash with over easy eggs with a biscuit is my all-time favorite. I have probably tried at least 70% of the menu throughout my lifetime. Was there last Sunday, and I was taking back. Ordered the classic french Bonanza, country fried steak, and corned beef and hash. All served with their delicious home potatoes! Same great service and great Americana breakfast, Cafe!"
"In an area where people seem to love to be made to wait and stand in line it's nice to grab breakfast on a Sunday morning with no wait. Food is gargantuan and delicious. This is where the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs was filmed. Honest food and prices. Breakfast is awesome here"
"Really cool diner with large portions. They charge you if you're paying with a card. Prices are a bit higher than other diners but you get a good amount for the price you pay. Friendly and fast service."
"As a Tarantino fan, the first place I went for the first time in the area was here, where the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs was shot. I really enjoyed this place. The food was good. The waitress we had was absolutely awesome. This was a good place."
"A MUST-GO if you're in LA SERVICE: The staff were very friendly and very helpful if you don't know what kind of drink to order. VIBES: VERY BEAUTIFUL!..."
