"Hidden Gem to non locals. We are from Oregon so here is my thoughts on the Rock'n Egg Cafe. My wife and I were in town celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and decided on this place for breakfast. We were not disappointed. Hanna our waitresses was very helpful and very nice. She helped my wife on suggesting a dish and thats a plus when you're going to a restaurant you've never been to. I ordered the 2nd st omelet( it was excellent)with the diced potatoes and a biscuit. I highly recommend getting the biscuit super good and made fresh at the restaurant. The salsa and jams are also made fresh. The salsa was absolutely fantastic. The coffee was quality and a good flavor. Pricing was good, a little high but so is everything else now days, the quality and flavor and service you don't mind paying that for a superior meal. Again if you are out of town in this area I, highly recommend but get in early as it is a smaller place. Again Hanna thank you making our experience a good one!!"

"Saw this restaurant on tiktok from an influencer. We went today 12/27 took my mom and sister to celebrate her bday. Since we arrived we felt super welcome by everyone inside is very small and cozy which I like with this weather 🙂 I got myself the red chilaquiles with chicken and eggs super delicious a little spicy but all the flavors were there. My sister and mom got the sunrise breakfast they said it was super good better than "Ihop" there you go what more proofs you need lol. Totally recommend this place is 20 mins away from dtla very quiet area which I love. Thanks for the waitress for being attentive if more coffee was needed!"

"Probably one of THE BEST blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had!! I love this breakfast spot everything is good but wow their homemade berry jam & blue berry pancakes are always a killer!! The place is cozy nice local spot for some breakfast , it can get a little cramped but overall great breakfast spot"

"What a delightful pocket of goodness! Our go-to brunch spot. The food is stellar, your options are diverse and the service is warm and very welcoming. Their freshly made signature salsa and jams go with just about anything, but I love them on the freshly made biscuits... This place is a sister restaurant of Nick's (in Chinatown) but we come to Rock'n'Eggs simply because we don't feel as rushed or cramped. Weekends are especially redunckulous because the assorted eggs beni are TO DIE FOR. Each week there is a special featured one that is a must try. Only thing you gotta be aware of is that parking can be tricky. Start looking for available street parking before you get to the cafe or turn into one of close residential side streets. You'll appreciate the walk back to your gar after stuffing yourself with all the good food!"
