from Google"Another stellar matcha spot in town and this time it’s neither ktown nor silver lake, but DTLA! Yep I knew parking’s tricky and traffic’s a hassle but I would say it’s worth the effort. The ceremonial grade matcha was bold and umami and the cream top wasn’t just there for decoration or the look, but did complement the drink flawlessly. I had it with whole milk but it wasn’t turning overly creamy with the strong matcha taste balancing the overall drink. It’s indeed tad pricey hitting double digit with tip, but you paid for the quality you get. The venue did give the simple and aesthetic Japanese cafe vibe, though I needed to call out limited space available and it’s not the kind of cafe you visited to sit down and work, but more for just enjoying your drink or socialize. Would certainly come back for their Hojicha or Earl Grey Latte!"
"Was craving a cream top latte and was not disappointed! I loved the Säero Signature – creamy, well balanced, and slightly sweet. Limited bench seating inside and outside. Came in on a Sunday morning and the staff were kind and warm. Looking forward to returning the next time I’m in LA!"
"Surprised to find this aesthetic cafe in downtown LA. Stopped by here during weekday after lunch. I ordered layered earl grey, and I was very satisfied. Their cream texture was light yet full of earl grey scent and flavor. It was nice to have non-matcha drink especially when matchas are everywhere at new cafes in LA these days. For me, it was a nice break from matcha to try different drink. Their other drinks look amazing. Parking is challenging around this place so you may have to be patient to find street parking nearby. If you are looking for some nice cafe with quality drink, I recommend checking out this place!"
"I was pleasantly surprised with this one! This is a very coffee forward shop with balanced roasts and spot on brews. I tried the batch brew(4$ - good price imo, but only served till noon, fyi) and it was fantastic. Much better than typical batch, better than most specialty shops. I also tried a pour over($9) and went with a pricey option. It was properly brewed and a unique roast so well worth it if you care to stretch out. The decor is minimal and reminds me of shops in japan(coffee county in Tokyo comes to mind). They also carry Moim roasts which is cool to see. Seating options are so chill and the arcade has come a long way! I look forward to trying the espresso service next."
"Honestly deducting a star because a double matcha with oat milk was 10.25$ (PRE TIP), meanwhile you can go to Ktown - a lot closer for me personally and not even that far - and get a double matcha for around 7-8$. Really amazing vibes inside though like trust when i say the cute corridor it’s in doesn’t feel like dtla at all. Clean, safe, and peaceful. I want to try other things so will be back but Im prepared to pay hella for it."
