"Working or studying spot vibes for sure! Huge space, and the corner at the back even complemented with TV, which could function as screen. This made it perfect pick for either solo guest or group. The only downside was certainly parking situation, which you might have expected given it’s at downtown. The lady behind the order counter, who’s also the barista, was super nice. Really appreciated her for helping me being more decisive when placing my order (lol) as I was initially torn between their Soro Latte and any Matcha drinks. She convinced me to go with the prior as she said it’s her favorite. I got it for to-go just because finding parking seemed impossible even after few rounds trying! This drink was simply a beauty with those layers of colors. It featured that matcha espresso combo with matcha cream top and the sweetener was basically the blue syrup at the bottom. I might fancy the coffee to be slightly stronger, but it’s overall good! Even the matcha flavor stood out despite just being in the cream. Not sure what the blue syrup made of, but the dose in this cup certainly suited those who fancied anything not overly sweet."

"One of the most phenomenal coffee experience I've ever had. I can't believe I got to sit down by the bar and watch the baristas make pour over and matcha with so much care and warmth! The space is so big and there's a lot of sitting and I could really taste the quality in the coffee and the matcha. Highly highly recommend this place. I was so curious about what the baristas were doing so when I asked, they were so gentle in explaining their bypass pour over method and the whisking of the matcha process. Truly wonderful place!"

"Soro Coffee has completely ruined other cafés for me — in the best way possible. The latte here is honestly the best I’ve ever tasted in Los Angeles. The shot is incredibly smooth, perfectly balanced, and has that rich, mouth-filling depth that hits you the moment it touches your tongue. There’s an earthy warmth in the espresso that lingers, but without any bitterness — just pure, clean flavor."

"If you haven’t been to Soro Café in Los Angeles yet… honestly, you are missing so so much!!! This place hasn’t even been around that long, but it’s already giving veteran cafés an identity crisis. First of all, the owner, Rock — yes, Rock — is exactly what his name suggests. Solid. Reliable. Unshakable. And apparently, also… a champion? I heard he won several coffee competitions, and after tasting his drinks, I fully believe he probably won them all. If there was a category for “Most Likely to Make You Question Every Other Latte You’ve Had,” he took first place there too. Now, let’s talk about the malcha menu. I don’t know what kind of wizardry is going on back there, but every malcha drink tastes like it was handcrafted by a peaceful monk who spent 30 years studying matcha and another 10 years practicing latte art by candlelight. It’s that good. And Rock isn’t just talented — he’s ridiculously kind. The type of kind where you start thinking, “Okay… what’s the catch?” But there isn’t one. Just great drinks, great vibes, and an owner who treats you like you walked into his living room instead of his café. In conclusion: Soro Café = my new happy place. Rock = the legend we didn’t deserve. The malcha = spiritual experience. Go before the line gets too long — which it absolutely will.
