What People Are Saying
from Google"The Baseline: For a coffee shop the baseline involves the quality of the roast, the taste of the coffee, and the preparation of specialty drinks/food items. Food: The coffee here has a great taste and the beans were well roasted. The latte I had was delicious with a well prepared froth. There are lots of choices for milk alternatives and there are more choices on the menu I intend to try in the future. Service: The staff was friendly and efficient in preparing my order. My barista took extra care to be decorative with my latte and I appreciated the time on the design. Ambiance: This place has a fun decor using ten speed bikes. It was busy when I came with no available seating as everyone was working on their laptops. It has a good energy."
"New favorite spot. I love that you give the matcha latte sans sweetener. I appreciate that you try to start my day off healthy. I spotted the stash of sugars and can choose my own route. I did it to myself and I can't blame you. Love everything super frothy delicious matcha latte. Thanks for your patience when I feel nervous and shy ordering. I got well and centered here before taking off to create my day. Though it is so full of people, it feels so warm and inviting. There's plenty of tables and seats. People are encouraged to share space with strangers. Music is top notch. Almost every song I heard I was looking up. Super ace spot. really appreciate your existence."
"Nice new coffee shop in Sawtelle. I tried the cappuccino which was pretty good. The signature latte is flavored with oat milk and maple and is very tasty, although you won’t find it on the menu. Baked goods are also nice."
"Quality coffee besides Alfred on Sawtelle. Very good service. Clean inside with interesting interiors. Sensible rate. Looks like themed for bikers. Will come back again."
"Update Since my first visit I have returned multiple times and I mist say the place is growing on me. The coffee is actually pretty good and the pastry’s are pretty good as well and the service has been great so it is on fair to rerate them. Over experience has been great and that’s why I’m giving the 5 star. 4 for Coffee 5 for pastry 5 for ambiance 5 for service Original review I found this place on my search for the next great Latte, I discovered this place close to my daughter’s Gym. The place looks really cool and hip so for sure a great hangout place to chill grab a Latte, some pastry to enjoy chilling or working. It’s big enough for a big groups which is nice. I ordered a Lavender Latte and asked for it to be slightly less sweet. The coffee was okay defiantly not the best I have had and maybe one even the second choice level. For sure a 3rd choice. In my opinion it lacked flavor and the coffee is just not flavorful enough to taste the coffee in your drink. I like more of the full body espresso. I asked for a recommendation for pastry and the guy suggested the banana loaf, which was again okay not the best I have had. The service was okay just average. The Barista seemed a bit overwhelmed and was not in the best of moods. Overall the experience was Okay. I do understand that it being a new establishment things can be overwhelming and stressful. Based on my experience and taste here is how I would rate this place. Technically it is some like a 3.5 but since it is closer to a 3 I am giving them a 3 rating. I will try them again and I may bumped them to a 4 if may experience is different. Please as always try it for your self as your experience maybe different. 3 for Latte. 4 for Pastry 3 for Service 5 for Ambiance"
