"Order this drink many times, first time taste super bitter and the color does not look right to me. Does not seem like the right drink. Very disappointed. Hope I do not get any stomachaches later."

"Great drinks ruined by unapproachable and unfriendly staff member. Came by on Sunday at noon on the last day of the AFK Journey collaboration event. The AFK Journey staff are great, wish I could say the same for the staff preparing drinks. They have to self service kiosk, but imaging having them take your orders. The place is spacious, high ceilings, plenty of seating. Nice location and not too busy The event drinks and usual are great. We got both the event drinks, Thai tea, and lychee oolong tea. The avocado sesame drink was delicious, you can taste the avocado and sesame whereas other places, the avocado is hardly noticeable. Sweetness and texture was perfect to my liking. What really soured the experience was the staff member calling out orders and serving drinks at that time. Must’ve been in a bad mood or having a bad days but it’s inexcusable for them to be in the service industry. Or just make drinks and don’t talk to customers. She basically called out numbers and left drinks for multiple orders out and basically had us figure out ourselves whose drink went with what order. Sure, let me pick up each drinks and check if it’s mine. Thanks! We asked for a bag for our four drinks, since we weren’t going to drink them right away. She gave us the dirtiest look like it was such an inconvenience for her. She took out the bag and handed us one finally but the look of questioning why we had asked for bags was so disrespectful. This place really needs to train their staff on customer service. It wasn’t even that busy! I’ve gone to Gardena, Rowland heights, and other locations and didn’t get this horrible treatment. Gardena actually packed it up in a bag for us when we ordered 4 drinks and even gave us the appropriate straws for our drinks. I’ll go back when there’s an exclusive event, but the service here leaves much to be desired."

"Decent boba store that has better fruit teas than milk teas. The drinks are a little pricier for the taste, but it is a fan favorite throughout LA, so needed to try it. While they recommend 100% sugar, I tried a grapefruit green tea with 50% sugar and still found it to be on the sweeter side. One can park in the 401 E. 2nd parking lot right next door, receive a ticket, and have it validated inside. Inside, one orders from a kiosk and there are limited seating options."

"Yummy! First time at Sunrite Tea Studio in Little Tokyo LA. Cute Little Place seems like they're still a new business. There were some boxes inside in the corner. Ordered my strawberry matcha with almond milk at the kiosk, pretty simple, quick, and easy. It was yummy. Boba was soft overall, and I enjoyed it. Parking is a pain if you manage to get a meter spot right in front. Congrats! 🍵🍓🥛"

"Great boba spot, dropped a star because they didn’t have passion fruit flavor freeze which is my girlfriends favorite, so she had to go somewhere else to find it! My boba tea was excellent."
