What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I grabbed the bagel with cream cheese early in the morning like 6:07 AM Service was quick, but bagel was rock hard and old so definitely don’t order here"
"I've had order canceled through UberEats (store closed, out of stock, and more), dont think twice with these as they are understandable and not their companies fault as it happens. But having a store refuse to cancel when your out, aka requirements under UberEats user agreement, but trying to get me to cancel and get charge so you still get money. What an absolute scam!"
"Small place Great for a quick stop if they’re not too busy. I get my donuts from here sometime and never tried any of the food. We ordered the Ranchero breakfast sandwich and the BLTCC. I will definitely be back for that. BLTCC.!! Definitely made it one of my go to spots for a sandwich like that."
"Do not go there unless you are Hispanic they will not treat you proper. You can definitely feel the division there. And it is completely inappropriate that they create such a racial division. You may call it “racism.” As a local to Mar Vista of 5 years - I write this review. It is a waste of time, energy, or money to go there. The bakery at the Pavilions in Marina Del Rey has AMAZING donuts if you are looking for quality donuts. This Yum Yum Donuts has failed me on multiple occasions, both on personal occurrences and work related! Not all Caucasians are racist. But it is really messed up that they treat you like you don’t even belong in your own neighborhood. Especially when I was just there trying to work myself. Doing some food deliveries in the middle of the night. It is unacceptable!! I How to experience racism from a few Latina lead businesses in the community. And it is unacceptable as I do not practice racism against others they should understand that not all people are the same, not all Caucasian people have taken apart in racism and our society and not all of us support what is happening in our society. In fact, we are all people. I hope that someone educates them about being racist towards members of the community or being racist in general is not OK. I been having to work for Uber eats as a supplemental job in the process of working about five jobs to supplement since I had to close my business for almost 2 years during COVID-19 and move it three times, and then after finding a new location had to shut down also during the Palisades fire due to safety and evacuation concerns. Thus, on Friday night instead of getting to go out like everybody else I was scrambling to complete some food deliveries. What should be a very simple delivery of a box of donuts became very complicated due to the staff at the Yum Yum donuts. The staff Member kept acting like she didn’t speak English, although I of course, go to businesses all over Los Angeles with Hispanic employees and 90% of them never act like this! She refused to fulfill the order, and kept on saying that they didn’t have the donuts that were needed. I kept on telling her that I was on a delivery and that she would need to communicate that on her end, and she just kept on staring at me for several minutes. I Have been dispatched on a second order and what she didn’t realize is that it was not only inconveniencing me, but also the customer who had ordered, along with the other customer, waiting on the second delivery. So she was inconveniencing at least three people by her unprofessionalism. I had to reach for support through the app. Which unfortunately is ran by a bot. The bot told me to proceed with the delivery, even though some of the items were not available. I Even speak some Spanish. But she was being very unhelpful, even when I was speaking some Spanish to her. There was another associate there, and he was being equally as unhelpful. I had to beg them to fulfill the Uber Eats Order!! Finally, She threw a few donuts in a box and handed it over to me. They have wasted so much of my time that I was reprimanded on the Uber eats app, I was removed from the second order and lost income over it, and it also affected my stats for accountability. How terrible of her! About 6 months ago, I was craving donuts and I walked over there to treat myself. I was skeptical about the freshness of the donut holes and even commented on it. The Associate assured me, the donuts were fresh. However, when I got home, the donuts were soggy in the bottom of the bag. They actually a couple of them tasted like they were in the process of going rotten. It was disgusting. Even When I have gotten donuts that are Fresh there, they are not really that good, especially when you compare them to something like the donuts at the Pavillions for the exact same cost! DK Donut in Santa Monica is LEGIT as well. The donut holes were gross enough that I almost flinch when I think that I ate that! Shame on them for serving me, rotten donut holes, and making me pay for them too!!"
"The sandwiches and service are so good, but the men hanging around playing music/videos at a very loud level ruined my meal. There was no sign of them eating or having eaten, just loitering. I won't return, there are other Yum-Yum Donuts in LA"
"If you've had Yum Yum Donuts before, you already know they pretty yummy indeed. I for one never tried their sandwiches before, and I am so glad I did. I..."
