"A pretty nice spot! It looked a little busy on a Wednesday, me and my friend had decided to go here for brunch, and it didn't disappoint. We were seated pretty quickly, despite how busy it seemed. We sat outside, and had a very friendly waitress who helped us both choose what we should get. There's plenty of parking right nearby. I ended up going with the Monte Cristo French pancakes - so savory and loved that it was a crêpe. The raspberry preserves added a good amount of sweetness. My friend enjoyed her omelet. Both were pretty huge in their portions, I definitely was not hungry afterwards. Definitely seems nice to come to if you want to bring a friend or two with you and if no reservations aren't a problem. Definitely recommend their breakfast."

"I was here with my friend after a hike. We ordered California benedict and a cafe latte along with their cinnamon bun. My friend ordered the streak omelette. The service was great, we were seated within ten minutes even though it was rush time. We sat outdoor seating area where sun was bothering but they fixed it with placing an umbrella. The restrooms are clean. The food was good, the California benedict that I ordered came with sides which was not part of it, at least it was not mentioned in the menu. I felt that was a waste to add to the plate. It's a live and vibrant place with busy customers in and out. The outside seating was great as you could see around outside what's happening with the hustle bustle of people, pets and children walking around."

"We've been here as well as the uptown location so many times over the years. Food has always been very good and consistent, especially the crab omelet 😋. The restaurant is tight, but cozy. It's always busy on the weekends. Love the service there as everyone is very friendly and helpful."

"My new favorite breakfast As a displaced east coaster, it's hard to find a place with a diner vibe in California. But we do get some adventurous menus. Sonora a trade off, yes? This morning I ended up at the Los Gatos Cafe on Santa Cruz avenue, a small diner-like experience with counter service and an extensive breakfast menu. Chimichurri flank steak showed up in a lot of dishes. I hadn't seen that before. So I asked for a recommendation and was guided to the chimichurri steak benedict with gorgonzola. I went with grits over potatoes since you don't get grits much out here. This was amazing. The perfectly poached eggs and well seasoned steak makes the dish a delight. The hollandaise was perfect The heaping dollop of butter made the grits a heavenly experience. The friendly counter staff kept my coffee full and my space clean. Small and friendly, with an extensive breakfast menu. Outdoor seating with people watching is available, but I enjoyed the counter today. Recommended to fill the diner-sized hole in your breakfast heart."
