"We went for after dinner cocktails to celebrate a friends birthday. I made a reservation ahead of time, but they book up early, so reserve early. I did need a better time and called and they were able to accommodate us and made the change. Super glad I called and asked. Cocktails are really good. The atmosphere is great. It’s dark, quiet, romantic. We all had a version of an espresso martini. One had a regular one, which came with a toasted marshmallow. She loved it. The rest of us had a special that was a pumpkin flavored espresso martini. It was so good. It had some sweetness with the crème, delicious pumpkin flavored espresso martini oh so good! Cocktails run about $20-$22 each. Not much for food here. They had caviar, chips, nuts, and Something else. We did not order food. I would recommend it to try at least once. Great date night cocktail, great for a friend meet up."

"The espresso martinis are amazing! Dakota hands down makes the best surprise drinks if you want good drink recommendations I’d go to Dakota (guy in the photo). The music also always a vibe!"

"I’m conflicted on my experience with the food here. I came because I heard they had an Irish breakfast, and coming from Britain originally it was something I was looking forward too. Unfortunately the meal had been cooked to American tastes not as you would actually have in the United Kingdom. The bread wasn’t fried, the bacon was tough as leather, and there was no black pudding. I’ll try other meals but I’ll steer clear of their bad breakfast."

"Second Story has a great location in Los Gatos and a really nice, lively atmosphere. The space is stylish and feels upscale a great spot for a night out or meeting friends. Unfortunately, the drinks were the weakest part of the experience. Cocktails were poorly balanced and underwhelming, especially for the price and the overall vibe of the place. One star off mainly for the cocktails. With better drinks, this place could be excellent. I’d still return for the atmosphere. Make a reservation!"
