The staff is incredible—incredibly friendly and they always make me feel at home by greeting me by name. As someone who also owns a restaurant in the area, I truly appreciate the level of care and hospitality they provide. A perfect reflection of the Malibu lifestyle. Five stars isn't enough!!!"

"I've been to Pura Vida in other states and this one seemed no different. It's definitely one of the pretty ones I've been to and the service was good. However, at this one the cookie I usually get was very dry compared to other locations. I usually get the ginger butterflypea drink, but I tried the matcha strawberry and was very pleased."

"Staff were very friendly and attentive. They made it the best experience. As far as the food, the croissants were extra buttery and banana bread is super moist and delicious. Our dog really enjoyed her peanut butter macaroons too. We had coffee, breakfast and pastries there and then decided to take some items to go. Looking forward to going back. Really hope they keep this group of staff."

"Got lucky and got a table early but didn’t realize this was going to get us neglected. Ordered just a coffee, tea, and an avocado smash. Got the drinks fast but once we got the drinks they erased our order. Ended up waiting for an hour and a half for a small avocado toast that was gluten free and missing ingredients (see image). Had to go up and ask twice just to be given someone else’s order because ours was entirely neglected. Overall won’t be going back at all and felt as though I just wasted an hour of my time."
