"On our way to Yosemite, we were looking for a place to pick our lunch from. This seem like a nice option given the rating. So we went ahead and asked for our usual order at any Mediterranean place, falafel plate and chicken donor kebab wrap. There were very few people in the restaurant for food, most of them were sitting with the there drinks on the cafe side. The cafe seemed more popular. The ambiance of this place was okay. There was a bit of grocery section too, stacked with spices, deli items etc. a little unorganised but not unthinkable 😬, given that this place had a lot going on. Food wise, it was a little underwhelming. The falafels were unusually chewy and dry even after adding sauces, hummus salad and rice were good. the chicken wrap was okay ish. The best thing about the place though was it’s location, especially for all the people headed into the park. Overall an okay experience. Next time I would either like to stop here to try coffee or tea."

The 3rd owners are doing right by the legacy of the original family with excellent take-out and meat counter, while going in a promising new direction co-locating with House of Mokha. I don’t mind the reduced grocery space, because they have Jerusalem Bakery breads, nice dairy products and our favorite Palestinian staple foods!"

"Habibi, this is the best falafel sandwich this country has to offer! Correctly cooked falafel is so hard to find, but someone taught these guys proper. Just a touch of spice, fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked and seasoned falafel with a tahini sauce made this a beautiful sandwich to see and to eat.
