"Gloria the owner was such a breath of fresh air in the world today! Her restaurant feels like a cozy welcoming home. The gyro sandwiches were so delicious. I highly recommend the hummus/babaganoush 10/10!!! Turkish coffee was a unique experience. We also enjoyed a fun game of mancala! If you’re looking for a place that values community, delicious food, and supporting Palestine this is your place!"

"Clean, friendly and the food was really tasty. I had a falafel (house made, not dry with nice seasoning) with fries that were fresh. I would come back for a casual bite. I’d like to try their Turkish coffee and the beautiful Turkish delight I spied in the case next time."

"Cute and cozy with REALLY good food! We walked in before closing and got a Gyro Plate and Veggie Plate. For the Gyro Plate - I loved that it included 2 Dolmas, they’re my favorite and at most places I usually have to pick between eating a meat option or veggie option so I was grateful I got a bit of both worlds at this place. The gyro meat was flavorful and cooked well, the tzatziki sauce was jam packed with good spices and the pita was nice and fluffy. The salad had just a smidge too much dressing for my taste but it’s not a deal breaker. The Veggie Plate was also delicious - moist and flavorful falafel and hummus and good tabouleh. My only comment is that the fridge for drinks was out of order, but maybe they’ll fix it soon. Overall, the atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and the food was good and affordable."

"I decided to try this place because I’m a fan of Middle Eastern food. The restaurant itself is cozy, but the person behind the counter seemed clearly unhappy and rushed while taking our order—I didn’t see a smile once. I ordered the gyro plate, but the gyro meat was cut too thick and lacked flavor. Nothing tasted fresh as it should have. The tabbouleh salad was bland, and the dolma also lacked flavor. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back."

"One of the best stops we’ve made in Monterey! Food was so good, Gloria made us feel at home and was so warm to us. The “Shutdown Meal Deal” is a steal of a price for a pair. Love their community oriented attitude towards their service, we’ll absolutely be back each time we’re in Monterey!"
