"What a delightful experience we had today for the soft opening of Philiz's! Upon arrival the City of MH dignitaries were preparing for the ribbon cutting ceremony, Mayor Mark Turner, City Manager Christina Turner and City Council representative Soraida Iwanaga were present along with Philiz's representative Heidi. They was a festive and busy mood at the store! There was no line to order and the two clerks behind the counter were very pleasant and patient as I asked a few questions, I'm a newbie to Philiz's! There was a short wait for my drink, a chai, which I so enjoyed. I loved that the barista made sure I liked it before I left as I had a Chai from the Philiz's in Sunnyvale Saturday and it was nothing special. We also ordered an iced Honey Haze and Iced Coffee Rose, both were made perfect!"

"Really great service! My first time going in while and the cashier up front was very patient and attentive. Even after getting my coffee they asked if it wasnt to my liking they could add more sweetener. But it was perfect! Great job in working as a team!"

"Coffee was great, food was good as well. Typical coffee shop food but nice variety. The tiramisu tartine and golden rice burrito was very good. Nice to finally have a coffee shop in M.H. That is lively and bright and doesn’t look like a dungeon. Staff was super friendly and I can tell they’re getting faster each time I go. Definitely my new go to spot."

"I love Philz, I frequent the Willow Glen location, and my coffee rose is always amazing, creamy, and delicious the way it is supposed to be. This location just can’t get it right. I gave the benefit of the doubt a few times since it’s a new location, but they are not consistent, my order is incorrectly made every time, and the coffee does not taste good. This last time, it did not even taste like rose at all as if the syrup/flavor was forgotten. The other drink, the cashew cocoa I got tasted like I put a cheap coffee pod in a Keurig then added c&h sugar to it. Not sweet or creamy at all. Overall the baristas are nice but the coffee sucks and is not the same as the other locations."
