"First visit to a big bear. Rustic big woods lodge charm meets retro dinner. Decided on the avocado bacon tomato Eggs Benedict, country potatoes side fruit.On the server Pedro's recommendations. Meal came rather quickly. Looked really appetizing, I quickly discovered 1 egg was beyond over done. Pedro without hesitation got another egg sent out. With that corrected, I very much enjoyed my Benedict. The potatoes not so much, a little to greasy and soft for my liking. Probably should have got regular hash browns. They looked good on plates I saw go out. Overall enjoyed the experience I'll be back to try something else."

"This was our first visit to any Black Bear Diner. At first the menu was overwhelming.... which is a positive for the large selection. I enjoyed that the menu looked like a newspaper. Our server Daisy N was very nice. The serving portions are large. (We just had to add more seasoning). The plus is that breakfast and dinner are both served all day!"

"When you get out of your car, you are blasted by the smell of greatness and I mean that literally your mouth is immediately watering from the smell of the food that you are about to get to enjoy you step inside. Yes it’s busy. You might have to wait a little bit but the whole time you get to spend talking to your family and enjoying each other‘s company while you wait and your mouth is watering so that when you do get to the table and you finally get to look at the menu. You are just ready to eat. The service was absolutely fantastic. My wife even forgot to tell them no tomatoes and they corrected it immediately for her. No questions asked then the food got there and let me tell you I got the New York steak and eggs. It was literally mouthwatering. It made you not even want to swallow the steak and just enjoy the juices and the flavor that was coming out of it absolutely one of the best stakes I’ve ever had my wife got. The breakfast melt, and she said that it was the best sandwich she has ever eaten. This place is absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone we went as far as even tipping the whole kitchen staff because the food was just absolutely amazing."
