What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Yum! Glad this inspired little joint opened up on East Plaza Blvd. We needed a Japanese dessert place close by. Just returned from my Japan trip and sure do missed it. Had the strawberry sando which was very good. I'm not sure they are the same Japanese strawberries because Japan had the best organics ones. You will know the difference but sando here is delicious. I loved the mango sticky rice blend smoothie was GREAT! You will need a spoon to eat the chunks of goodness (sweet rice and mangos). The Genmai Honeydew was good if you like roasted matcha. Look forward to trying more items next time. Oshi!"

"We loved our egg 🥚 and fruit 🍉 sando and grilled chicken onigri ! 🍙I had the taro 🧋tornado and my sister had the Kyoto matcha 🍵 it was so delicious even in the soft open. Authentic and creamy. Our new favorite spot. Beautiful cafe and lots of parking!"
"The coming of a very cute Japanese-inspired cafe :) I got the Pandan Vietnamese coffee and a Gochujang Tuna onigiri. Because of the soft-opening, there was only one employee, so all I could do was wait. But, once I got my order, I was very happy. The coffee had a nice pandan smell, but I could not taste much of it unfortunately. The coffee itself, however, was a perfect vietnamese coffee: Strong and not too sweet. The onigiri came warm and in a convenient plastic wrapping. It did, however, begin to break easily as I opened it. (Maybe because it was hot...?) The rice was nicely seasoned and it had a lot of filling, although I could not taste much of the gochujang. The color looked like it was very light, which was a little disappointing. It was still very satisfying and I had a nice meal. As a soft opening, it is a nice show of concept. The flavors feel creative and I still want to come back and try other options. But I also think they will need proper staffing and taste testing for the grand opening. I recommend coming here to give the owner more support and making this a successful business :)"
