"Very strange experience. Had to get the attention of the proprietor, served our own coffee in paper cups. But the awkwardness aside... seems like a place the local ladies meet up with friends to sit back with a cup of coffee and a treat."

The best atmosphere the best people the best fun the best location and all they charge you for is the coffee and goodies! Honestly you cannot ask for a better business in this area! "This place not only does coffee, they also bake all their pastries and bagels! Located behind the Nevada City SPD, sitting atop the Saw Shop, is this quaint little spot. They have lunch specials- my favorite is their Friday Hamburger. Burger (from spd butcher) , homemade bun, avo, bacon and TLC (see what I did there? ) with a side of fries for 8 bucks! Even if it went up, I don't even think it's 10.00. So worth it. Simplicity at its finest. Coffee is great and the family has a long history as bakers in these hills. I also love their ham & cheese croissants. CASH ONLY, but a quick stop in spd can solve that issue."

"Good coffee, good pastry but let me say when you're working in a coffee shop and in the kitchen this is not a place to make your political statement of not wearing a mask. The whole time I'm sitting there she's talking about politics and the masks and I'm watching both of them behind the counter serving people and cooking without masks. I mean come on, make your political statement when you're not making peoples drinks and food at least. Its disappointing to see this out there"

"They make delicious coffee with Grahdeli chocolate and smooth rich coffee. Everyone is friendly efficient and it feels like walking in to a friends place every time I get coffee while shopping. The pastries are fresh and they make great sandwiches."
