"The pancakes were amazing! So fluffy and golden. My husband’s beef hash was really delicious. I got the huevos rancheros which were tasty but the tortillas were underneath and everything got a bit sloppy. Great service."

"Really nice Cafe in downtown Nevada City. Super friendly staff. We had a late breakfast on a Wednesday. The food was prepared exactly to order. Very delicious. My granddaughter was excited about how good their syrup is. I don't usually enjoy small California restaurants. My experience has been most if them try to put their own spin on foods that don't need any changes. Things like bacon and eggs, pancakes, etc. This place has some of that, but they also have really good normal breakfast food. I had bacon-n-eggs, potatoes, and toast. The bacon was really thick, but the cook made it nice and crispy per my request. The eggs were great and the toast was super good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated with fresh wildflowers in cups of water and really cool art pieces. A lot of items there are recycled/re-purposed. I really liked the old pieces of pipe they mounted in the restrooms to hold the tissue. Great spot! I will definitely eat there again on my next visit to Nevada City."

"Great Atmosphere. Nice place to have a quiet small breakfast. But for me being a big guy portions are not to big to me personally. But the Pancake don't order1/2 order the full trust me that was by far the best part of my breakfast tasted like a blend of fresh pancakes and a funnel cake. Try it out and give them a shot. The staff was super nice."

"The food was good, and it came out fast, I’m not crazy about the home fries seasoning, and I wish they had a hashbrowns option. The service was good, and I really appreciate that taxes are included in the price makes it easier to split the bill! The orange juice is delicious! The breakfast tacos were good, and the huevos rancheros were huge! I hope they add hashbrowns, but everything else was on point"

"Had a wonderful, healthy breakfast with a great table in the window. The tofu scramble was yummy. They source their food from a lot of local farms and businesses. Their own roast from Caroline’s Coffee was great too!"
