from Google & Yelp"Neat little coffee shop located on Balboa Island. Serves excellent lattes and flat whites. Beans are roasted off site. Interior of store exhibits include an old coffee roasting machine which was very cool. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The owner was born in Canada and played in the NHL but developed a passion for coffee via his travels. Neat story."
"Cute coffee shop in Balboa Island! Tried their lavender and hazelnut lattes! The flavors taste natural, not artificial. Perfect for people who like mild coffee. Friendly staff and cozy space. Free street parking near the beach, but it gets busy!"
"My family and I were walking around Balboa Island and stumbled upon this cafe! Service was personal and kind. I ordered a hazelnut latte (iced) for my mom and we shared it. The latte ($7) came out quickly. It was so delicious! Not too sweet at all. We were able to make a quick bathroom stop and take pictures. The interior reminds me of an interior of a ship, and I noticed some people studying. They have the special drinks of the month featured in front of the register. There are roasted beans I may come back for! Thank you for your service!!"
"Cute little coffee shop; does the fix if you in need for a pick me up. I tried the seasonal summer tiramisu iced latte and it was alright. Wanted something more flavorful, maybe next time will try the iced shaken espresso instead. Overall nice coffee shop with cute devour and good vibes"
"What Makes It Special Organic, house-roasted beans: They roast fresh locally at their Santa Ana roastery, and use quality ingredients and housemade syrups Popular drinks: Favorites include the Hometown Latte, honey lavender, hazelnut, vanilla oat milk lattes, and their signature shaken espresso. Reviews call them “divine,” “natural,” and not overly sweet Breakfast options: Their breakfast sandwich (egg patty, bacon, cheese on an English muffin) is especially praised. Cozy & inviting: Small counter and table seating, plus window seating perfect for reading or people-watching. It's described as “bright, fresh, beautiful and charming,” with a “ship-like” interior feel . . Community-driven: Friendly, personal service and a strong local community vibe make it a welcoming stop on the island."
"Came here before getting on the road the other day . Parked on the side of the street. As we were walking up to the place you could smell the delicious..."
