"Not waiting to post later. Going with a 5 just because my 2mo craving for menudo has been more than satisfied. We have our favorite regular place, but today we stopped by Mr Rosewood because we were out and about. There is a reason for all the raving about their menudo. Wifey and I had a debate on the subject and we agreed it’s about the broth. Menudo here has a flavorful broth that stands alone as a wholesome meal. The additions fact that you get tender tripe and yummy hominy makes it’s a no regrets choice. Service can be a bit slow. But be patient! Place is busy so they are hustling. The Bloody Mary was a nice surprise. Over all 5 stars for a local favorite that is not a franchise formula. Support locals y’all !!"

"I had been hesitant to stop by Mr. Rosewood Family Restaurant. I’ve driven past many times but had never given it a chance. I’m glad I finally did! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and quickly seated. Within seconds, our server, Jordan, came over and offered us drinks: “May I start you with coffee and water while you look at the menu?” A perfect way to start your breakfast experience. After browsing the menu, we decided on a medium bowl of menudo. It did not disappoint—the bowl was filled with tender pieces of pancita (beef tripe) and pata (beef feet). The broth was rich, slightly thick from the collagen, and absolutely delicious. My friend had the chilaquiles and they were served and bit crunchy in a red sauce. ❤️ The service was consistently friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend Mr. Rosewood Family Restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood—especially if you’re craving a comforting bowl of menudo! Bring your pots so they can fill them with red or green pozole, or menudo."

"The rest of the salad was fine this is what I left because you can tell it was not fresh. And the lemonade was in a dirty glass, it has cilantro or who knows what. The food was ok."

"I really, really enjoyed the band that played Sunday, Amazing, oh the food's delicious by the way. I'm looking for the schedule. I think the group's going to be back next time month. I'll be back. Oh t TEX Mex, AND SOME LIVE MUSIC. I don't know the name of the group. But they were amazing, both somebody joined in and I got pictures with him buried down to earth. The staff can use some help with of attentiveness, maybe too busy. There was a big crowd. I'm sure that band, it's going to pull in more people. I need to see the schedules. Or if it's a one shot deal. Kind of out of the way for me, i'm a good food. I eat there again."

"I've debated for two months whether or not to post this but decided to do so to make others aware of how careless the kitchen staff is. I ordered a pozole and bit into a bottle cap and piece of hard plastic in the same bite. I let the manager know and they covered our bill for 3. I appreciate them picking up the tab but I can't bring myself to return. I'm very disappointed because l loved going here."
