"I haven't had a salad this good in a very long time. I hope if it's a seasonal salad, they replace it with something just as good, because, Yum. The coffee isn't the best in Oakland, but it's serviceable. It seems to be pretty packed often, so don't be surprised to wait for a table to open up. As such, DO NOT expect to be able to park yourself and work on a computer inside here. There are large signs posted everywhere saying "No computers!!" Which I somewhat understand, but I don't see the harm if it's not busy. It seems like people should be able to use responsible freedom on that, but....I digress..."

"Now that we can bring our dogs again it is convenient to sit on the patio and have a coffee or breakfast. There was one. Where they were not even letting dogs on the patio for no good reason. They reverted the rule. The breakfast burritos are surprisingly well stuffed with eggs and cheese and the hot sauce is a good amount of spice. Not too hot not too mild. They do not have straws. Take your own. If you need it. Patio is slanted, but it is covered with a tent. There are wooden benches to sit on. They bring you out your food if you are eating there."

"What a gem nessled in the hills of Piedmont. Husband and wife pair own the chic coffee and gift store, which also has some nice bistro options - specifically liege waffles. The sound track is a pleasant French style coffee shop. I am not sure I can say enough good things about this location. It is a stellar experience."
