"I love this place. It’s within walking distance of my house and Temescal, but has a quiet neighborhood feel to it. The decorations are adorable and purposeful; you can tell the place is cared for and clean. The staff are always welcoming and interactive and the prices are very reasonable. …but most of all, the food is amazing. Whether it’s their moist chocolate cake, giant breakfast sandwich or warm drink (espresso and Matcha 😋), I am always satisfied and appreciate the quality ingredients! Bonus, their water is infused and also yummy!"

"I went here with my spouse for our first wedding anniversary date. My goodness, the decor is so warm and inviting and thoughtful. The staff were just as welcoming and friendly. I noticed that they had a lot of repeat customers, and it felt like you were at your auntie’s place hanging out until late. We got there around 3:30 and started with hot mocha and strawberry lavender matcha lattes. It was yummy and unsweetened, but they had sugar nearby in case you wanted it sweeter. We then tried the beef tibs with the injera for dinner, which starts at 4 pm! Perfectly seasoned and hot with a side of salad. It reminds me of a Filipino menudo or beef stew, and I was so happy to be able to eat with my hands again! We ended the night with a yummy brownie that they heated up for us. Btw, you order and eat first at the table, then pay at the counter before you head out. Highly recommend, and going on my favorite cafe list. We will be returning and enjoying more food and sharing photos!"
