"Loved our coffee at Communal in Oceanside! The ambiance is amazing, such a calming vibe. Great for working on your laptop, reading, or getting together with friends. We enjoyed the strawberry cream matcha latte and hazelnut brown sugar latte. The staff is friendly and coffee comes out relatively quickly considering the large number of customers. Lots of seating inside and dog friendly outdoors. Cute flowers, cards, wine, and other gifts for sale. Recommend!"

"My mom, her best friend and I ate here for brunch yesterday. It was delicious. We all have some sort of gluten intolerance (mine being celiac) and we were all able to get something delicious. They offer gluten free bagels, gluten free bread and numerous breakfast options. Their coffee is good and the blood orange drink was good as well. Just a little sweet. The experience was great, the people that worked there were nice. Their little shop for goodies was cute, my mom was able to buy a little perfume that smelled great. Overall it was a 10/10 and I recommend."

"This place is underrated - I have no idea how anyone gives it less than 5 stars. I roast coffee myself, and this is the best I've had in a long time. The pastries are great too. The shop is well laid-out with lots of outdoor and indoor seating, and the staff is courteous. Plus there are lot of nice shops nearby to wander through. I'd come here every day if I could."
