"This has been my favorite coffee shop since it opened over 30 years ago. I still have the promotional coffee cup, sold for five dollars, with $.75 refills as long as I own the cup. Only two (new) employees have challenged the $.75 charge for a cup of coffee in 30 years. Thank you, Joe, the owner, for informing them that it is a legitimate coffee refill cup (at 1994 prices)! Java and Joe’s sells the most fantastic specialty coffee in Ventura County."

"Consistently soooo good! That’s my biggest issue with a lot of places is it’ll be great one time and not good the next. They have a lot of unique and sweet coffee flavors. I recommend the vanilla lavender latte. Also they put a good amount of ice, unlike Starbucks that fills up the whole cup with ice."
