"Before I get to the gist of this review, I would like to say Revel has delicious food, and I have enjoyed the establishment in the past. I've been out of town for over a year, so haven't been to Revel lately. As I entered the parking lot for Revel, I paused for a second, looking for something in my bag. A driver honked at me, seeming very angry, and I felt shocked. I didn't get out of the way quick enough, so that was my mistake. I felt nearly run over. I approached the driver after he parked his car, and told him that wasn't a nice thing to do to a pedestrian. Then this person insulted me and swore at me vehemently, and I felt bad on the day I was celebrating my birthday. I saw this person go into Revel, and it turned out to be a Revel employee. Then a homeless woman approached me, a woman who hangs around and sleeps close to the public restrooms nearby, and she cussed me out, too. She told me she was a witness, and that she was friends with all the police in town. The owner of Revel responded online to my review, and seemed gracious. So I went in to speak with the owner. She said the employee claimed I was the one swearing. She said there was a witness, and I responded that person is a homeless woman who sleeps and resides nearby--a person who swears most vehemently. Some locals know who I mean. The owner seems to stand by her employee. The owner is entitled to believe what she wants to believe. I don't think I'm welcome to go back to Revel. The owner may not believe my version, but it wouldn't hurt if she would instruct her employees to not honk at, swear at or insult members of the public in the parking lot."

"Revel kombucha Bar and açaí in Ojai has hands down the best açaí bowls I’ve ever had—no exaggeration. I come all the way from Oxnard just for them, and it’s worth every mile. The fruit is always fresh, and beautifully arranged. But what really takes it to the next level is their granola—seriously the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and adds the perfect texture to the bowl. The quality and care they put into every bowl is obvious. It’s not just a snack—it’s an experience. If you're anywhere near Ojai, you have to stop by Revel Place. Just be warned: once you try their açaí bowls, you’ll be hooked."

"This is my favorite place for acai bowls and jun. What a treat! It's 5 hours from where I live, but when I have the chance to come to Ojai- the 1st stop is Revel. The jun flights are fun, and we love to just park ourselves, play a game of chess, and fill ourselves with the yummiest acai and jun ever!"
