What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Visited April 28..see receipt. As people know I only do reviews with a proof of purchase! Beautiful inside! This large coffee shop opened April 25th. They serve breakfast items such as burritos and avocado toast along with scones and cookies. There is plenty of seating inside. Lots of windows and located on the corner in oroville. Welcome addition and much needed! Friendly employees !"
"Lots of seating, good coffee and terrific baristas. Breakfast pastures are really yummy, I especially love the cheese and spinach pastry. The place is bright and immaculate and that's a nice Benny. Try it, I think you'll find it very pleasant."
"Went for my first time last weekend. Awesome new coffee shop in Oroville. Modern, hip flare with great ambiance. Obvious detail to how the café feels as much as their attention to the menu. Nice staff. I had an Amazing Spanish latte. Delish! I'll definitely be back."
"Coffee was good when they opened but they now seem understaffed and have very short operating hours. Drinks are no longer on the same level and wait times are longer. Food is mediocre and does not match the drink theme of unique and Asian-inspired recipes. Cobb salad is not something I would want with a black sesame latte. My avocado toast was not toasted and my friend’s breakfast sandwich was served on a flattened grocery store croissant - nothing like the pictures online. Interior design took inspiration from Chico’s Stoble but here is poorly executed and disconnected, giving the cafe a sterile vibe. Music was boring. The worst part was that instead of smelling like coffee, the cafe smelled like old onions and felt well over 85 degrees inside. I wanted to give Union Coffee Club a chance when they first opened but they have nothing that makes me want to return. They advertise great coffee roasters and ingredients but lack the ability to use them."
"I had the lox on a 1/2 bagel that was tough, flavorless. It was disappointing and overpriced. On previous visits, I’ve had the avocado toast, which has been better. Once I had a nice salad, but it’s not on fresh menu any longer. I appreciate the lovely atmosphere for meeting up with friends. I agree the hours need to be extended—open earlier and serve to 2 pm. Its a wonderful place that needs some adjustments in quality of food, more attentive service, and extended hours. I’ll be back."
"I finally got to try this wonderful place! The atmosphere is beautiful. They make a wonderful Matcha, and I truly appreciate the attentiveness of the staff."
