from Google & Yelp"Delicious 😋 A delicious way to start your morning! We came the day after Christmas for breakfast/brunch with my family, and it was such a great choice. Everything we ordered—from the coffee to the food—was amazing (yes, even the coffee itself!). We ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. My mom had the wet burrito with asada, and it was packed with flavor in every bite. My sister ordered the chilaquiles, which were extremely good—the sauce had a nice kick, and the bits of meat added even more flavor. My brother-in-law got the ribeye and eggs; the steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. My boyfriend and I both ordered the fajita omelet, and we were not disappointed at all—the tri-tip was amazing, and the O’Brien potatoes were a perfect side. After our meals, we shared pancakes, and they were soooo good—super buttery and just made everything even better. Overall, the food was great. Our waitress was kind and helpful with everything we needed. We did have to send the food back once because it was a little cold, but that’s understandable, especially since she was likely trying to bring everything out at the same time. Definitely a great, cozy place to come with family and friends. We’ll for sure be back!"
"We came here several days in a row for breakfast and can verify that the food and service are excellent! If you’re staying in one of the hotels nearby, this is probably the most solid breakfast place you can walk to within a 25-minute walking radius. The California omelette with a side of fruit and wheat toast was a standout dish. The beef fajita omelette with hashbrowns and a side of pancakes was another. Even if you arrive very hungry, the portions are large enough that you’ll almost certainly leave satisfied. And, the quality of the food is very good, especially for the price. The hot cafe latte was just a little bit sweet, impaired perfectly with the savory dishes that we ordered. Each time we visited, the food was ready in less than 10 minutes in the staff were excellent about checking in to see if we needed anything. They also proactively offered sauces and accompaniments. I’d highly recommend Cafe Amri for breakfast!"
"Was traveling from Santa Barbara down south to Orange County on a Sunday, looked up some breakfast spots and this one caught our eye. Great little cozy spot, as soon as we stepped inside it smelled gooooood. The service was consistent and solid, but we noticed most tables had a plate of fried chicken. We ordered fried chicken & waffles, hash browns, and eggs. Delicious and filling. It didn't feel greasy and heavy after. If you're looking for a classic American breakfast, I definitely recommend this cafe."
"My friends, this place is great for breakfast. They have menudo on the weekend, your traditional Mexican and American dishes, just like moms cooking. If you're in the area, make sure you stop here and try it for yourselves. Like I've said before, listen to your food souls and enjoy good eats. God bless you all, my brothers and sisters."
"They know how to cook here. The food was great, almost perfect across the board; The cook understood how to cook a burger patty to the correct level upon request (within regulations of course) & the fries are out of this world. Ample portions and relatively low to average cost for a surplus of good food. Atmosphere is a bit generic and there is an odd insistence about seating in the establishment but it wasn't overly busy so seating flexed a little for us. Overall, 4/5, would recommend."
