from Google"The decor inside has the feel of an old-time local haunt -- very fun and busy with various decorations to catch your eye. I'd say the ambiance and location are the best part of this establishment. There's live music here at times, and the patio area overlooks the harbor. There's always a light breeze blowing through which is really nice during brunch time. The food is alright too. Though I wouldn't say the food is top top reason to come here. Prices are also on part with what you'd pay at a small restaurant."
"We discovered this spot even before we had a chance to fully familiarize ourselves with the area. Coincidentally, a few nights earlier, we had dinner upstairs at the Lookout Bar. While the nightlife at Mrs. Olens was definitely lively and cool—personally, not my usual scene—it was fun to watch the punk rock mosh pit from outside. We arrived on a Sunday morning expecting it to be busy, but to our surprise, it was quite quiet around 8:30 AM. For breakfast, I tried the chilaquiles, as well as the pancakes and French toast. The flavors were good and satisfying, though nothing particularly extraordinary. There was an extra charge for eggs, which was expected with the price increase, overall, the meal was enjoyable. I’d love to come back and try their Bloody Mary’s—they looked incredibly refreshing and delicious!"
"Harbor tax: 3.5% and sales tax 9.25% The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated and interesting, the staff were kind, and the food tasted pretty good. The only downside was that the clam chowder felt more like potato soup."
"⸻ Extremely disappointed. Ms. Olson’s used to be the breakfast spot a couple of years ago. Had I known it was under new management, I honestly wouldn’t have gone back. The previous owner was always so sweet and welcoming, which made the place special. I should’ve taken the hint when the restaurant was nearly empty, and then the table behind us actually got up and left because the kitchen was out of several breakfast items. When our food finally arrived, it was very underwhelming. The potatoes were cold, and the overall quality just wasn’t there. To make matters worse, it was ridiculously expensive. Two breakfast plates plus nearly 13% sales tax came out to $80, which is wild considering the quality of the food and experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning."
"The Eggs Benedict was delicious but the potatoes were a bit burnt and greasy. The service was good but the waitress offered us a 10% discount, if we paid cash (a first for both me and my friend). On our way out, we noticed a sign offering that same 10% off for cash payments, as well as a couple of invoices from different vendors stuck in the front door. The view is great, of course, but this whole other vibe gave us both a bit of an uncomfortable feeling."
