from Google"Not a fan, but I'll give the benefit of a doubt. I paid $18 for a tiny sandwich and small pasta salad i could've made at home for less than $5. It wasn't terrible, just very cheap ingredients. The "turkey" is the most processed deli meat money can buy. I paid $1 for a couple slices of avocado, and this took 20 minutes to make? Pasta mixed with Italian dressing. Not worth $4. I get its a coffee shop but cmon.. PS the vibe is odd and confusing. Also, I wanted to add i don't understand or like the impersonal aspect of ordering from a kiosk. No human interaction, not welcoming."
"This is not your original coffee spot. I learned they are a 501(c)(3) non profit helping youth volunteers gain work skills. Every Saturday they have painting lessons from Nataly and they are fun! Great vibes all around."
"The matcha has a sweet lovely taste to it and they can substitute milk. I choose almond milk. Their breakfast sourdough with turkey does taste well I just felt it may have had more oil than I like. The atmosphere is great and the staff are sweet. If you are a first time customer they give a 10% discount :))"
"They don’t enforce a policy where customers use headphones so you are subject to customers blaring speaker phone use - very disruptive for a coffee shop vibe. I won’t be returning for that reason. Also the cold brew was extremely bitter."
"A lot of people don't realize Generation's is not just a coffee shop. It is posted in the coffee shop that Generation's is a place for youth, disabled children and adults, and homeless or foster children to be able to gain work experience. These youth are supervised at all times and trained by adults on how to work in a coffeeshop very similar to on the job training. A lot of these reviews are posted by people who didnt stop an decided to read the signs posted all around the shop. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes especially kids. This is a small cafe that you can order from while supporting a good cause. They are non profit, meaning the kids making your drinks are really there because they care and want to make a difference in the world while gaining experience in a work place. The job market is so horrible right now for young adults with no experience. This place is giving the youth in the AV a chance to get a job in these difficult times. So if you stop, by remember you are not only donating to your community but helping YOUTH, gain work experience."
