from Google"This is definitely a pricier café: three desserts and two drinks came to about $50. Most of the seating is upstairs, with one large table that seats around six and several smaller tables and chairs. It’s not a loud, social spot for hanging out with friends, nor is it especially quiet for studying or working; rather, it falls somewhere in between and is well suited for small group meetings or reading a book. The interior is fairly plain, though the upstairs window and the outdoor seating area are quite pleasant. Free Wi-Fi is available. I ordered a flat white, which was very well made—smooth, flavorful, not bitter, and served at just the right temperature, with lovely latte art on top. It also came with a small glass of sparkling water. Their special dessert, of which they make only one or two per day, was a cheesecake. I ordered the tiramisu flavor. While the rest of my group enjoyed it, it wasn’t to my taste. The texture was extremely creamy—almost like plain cream—whereas I personally prefer cheesecake to be a bit firmer. This level of creaminess also heightened the sweetness, which I didn’t enjoy. The dessert consisted of two layers, presumably coffee-flavored and vanilla, but the difference between them was barely noticeable. Overall, this café is very hyped and certainly good, but given the price point, the relatively plain interior, the limited selection, and my experience with the signature dessert, it’s not a place I would be likely to return to."
"Came here for my birthday and was super happy with the experience! I had a vanilla latte and a regular latte, and both were really good. The service is amazing, space is cute and cozy, with two floors - upstairs is great for working or studying since it's pretty quiet. It is on the pricier side (about $8 per latte), but the quality and vibe make up for it. Nice Palo Alto spot if you're looking for good coffee and a cozy atmosphere."
"We know about goodthing coffee from the Burlingame store, and a lovely surprise to know that they are open here in Palo Alto! We tried the GuiHua Oat Lattee and Expresso Tonic; we loved them! One thing is the espresso tonic is on the sour side, I personally very enjoyed it."
"Cute place. Must of came on the rainest of days because there was no line on a Saturday morning. Lucky me! Came for the sesame Einspanner, ended up with the pistachio because they were sold out of the sesame. It’s basically a cold latte with cold foam on top.. is my takeaway. I would say that the pistachio was tasty not too sweet (which I appreciate). Basically spent $28 for 2 drinks with extra shots, oat milk and one cookie. I’m not sure what it is but all the added $ for milk options puts a bad taste in my mouth… especially for a drink that’s not bad but not necessarily the best. I wouldn’t return. Really another social media find."
"Cafe experience left much to be desired. It took almost 10 minutes for latte to be prepared. The atmosphere of the cafe was lackluster… it was freezing and there was barely any seating. The white/beige aesthetic makes everything feel cold and corporate rather than a warm/cozy cafe. My drink was OK, but the prices are steep! And it’s only available in a 12 oz size. Will not be placing this on my cafe rotation."
