"I stopped by this French-style café inside the Stanford shopping mall in the early evening. It was fairly busy, and the space itself is very small, like a corner spot with no tables or seating—so it’s clearly designed for takeout rather than lingering. I ordered a mocha, and it was actually quite good. It wasn’t sweetened by default, which I appreciated, and you can add sugar yourself if you like. The chocolate flavor came through nicely, just as a mocha should. That said, the small size felt a bit on the smaller side for the price. I didn’t try any food this time, but they had an impressive display of artisanal baked goods, pastries, and a variety of sandwiches. It definitely looked tempting, and I’d be open to coming back to try some of their pastries or sandwiches on another visit."

"It's pretty basic sandwich food. They make food fairly quickly, considering the line to order. Most any sandwich shop like Jersey Mike's or Togo's is much better. It seems from the responses of other customers that their sweet pastries are quite good."

"I’ve supported this café/bakery for about 8–9 years — I buy coffee here almost every day, and I’ve ordered multiple birthday cakes for my family from them as well. Today, my coffee spilled all over my coat and bag because the staff didn’t put the lid on properly. But what shocked me wasn’t the spilled coffee — it was how they handled the situation. When I brought it to the manager’s attention, they didn’t apologize. Instead, they told me to “check it yourself next time.” When I asked for a refund, the staff became rude and even told me “don’t come back again.” As someone who has supported this place for years, I found this extremely insulting and disappointing. No business should treat customers this way, especially loyal ones. Today made it very clear to me that this place does not value customer loyalty. I won’t be returning."
