"January 2025: Stopped by for a morning coffee and a whole wheat croissant 🥐. Very nice selection of pour over options. I went for the Ethiopia Buku Saiysa from Sweet Bloom coffee roaster. Enjoyed it a lot. The whole wheat croissant was very tasty 😋. Would definitely come back again for more delicious croissants and smooth coffee ☕."

"I really like this place. It is such a nice neighborhood coffee shop. I only wish I lived in the neighborhood. I enjoyed my cortado very much. The barista was pleasant and not "snobby" at all. I enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant from their limited selection of gourgesly displayed pasties fell brought in daily from a bakery in highland Park. The shop has a nice vibe. I met my friend who does live in the neighborhood. We had space and the others were doing their own thing. It was calm and intellectual. We especially enjoyed the two dogs that came and socialized with their owners."

"This had to be one of the best iced americanos I’ve had in a while. There were two things that stuck out to me the most (that weren’t the coffee). The parking is street parking, which is super tight and almost nonexistent during operating hours. So be prepared to drive in circles for some time, unless you get lucky. Second, the guy with the beard who took our order was kind of rude. He asked what he could get us, and after I gave him my order he just turned the screen and walked away without saying anything. I also said thank you after receiving my drink and he did not say it back or even acknowledge me. It was not busy. The outside of this place is cute, but the inside looks very sterile. I don’t think this place represents Pasadena/ Altadena well. * My 3 star rating has nothing to do with the parking situation since I know that is most likely out of their control. I did want to point it out for any future customers though! Highly populated cities don’t have great infrastructure when it comes to parking."

"I stopped in for a vanilla latte to go. I wish I had more time because Highlight had a nice vibe for sitting and relaxing. Next time would be good to meet a few friends here. Service was fast and friendly and my latte was extra hot as requested and very smooth!"

"The butterscotch latte was incredible, so much so that my first thought after finishing it was “I need another”. Absolutely delicious and one of my favorites in the Foothill area."
