"I’m so glad I found this place! It is so cute and I love that their cold drinks are in typical “hot drink” cups. It actually makes drinking coffee without a straw way more accessible. Their cold brew was yum as well as their plant based breakfast sandwich. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors."

"I ordered a Medium, Hot, Black Philtered Soul coffee today with 1 Stevia. When I picked up my order I took a sip and it tasted like it needed another Stevia. I asked the barista for another Stevia because it did not taste sweet or like Stevia was inside of it. She replied, “oh that was Stevia? I put sugar in it.” I told her that I’m a Type 1 Diabetic. I can NOT have sugar. This could have been life threatening for me if I had drank it without knowing ingested sugar and not had my insulin pen with me. She made me a new coffee, I appreciated that. But this is not a “small” mistake. Especially for an almost $10 coffee. I’ve been a long time Philz fan for over a decade in SF. This was a very scary moment for me."

"Coffee is not a phase, it’s a lifestyle. That being said let’s start this fantastic review. Philz Coffee is a franchise company coffeehouse located within The Common Plaza in Pasadena. They specialize in customized coffee blends, made from sustainably sourced green beans from around the world, and skillfully roasted in their roasting facility in Oakland, CA. We have never tried this coffee franchise before but to our surprise they exceeded our expectation. They have a good and interesting coffee blends. I had a hot Philtered Soul, a medium & balanced blend of hazelnut, maple and caramel. It was bloody PERFECT in taste and aroma. To top it off, I added a fresh flaky Chocolate Croissant. Service was on point despite its multiple orders from local customers. Interior atmosphere was chill. Free wifi. Prices were competitive and fair. Staff were competent and professional. Overall, it’s a nice coffee shop and definitely recommend. I shall return."

"Mint mojito iced coffee made “the house way” is the best. Such a classic with the creamy sweet flavor topped off well with minty freshness!! I am lactose but this drink doesn’t affect my stomach. I haven’t come here in awhile but it didn’t disappoint and tasted amazing like it always does! It’s hard for me to try another flavor cause the mint tastes too good!! The customer service was great, especially the barista gentleman who made our drink. He was very friendly and told us to take a sip before in case we wanted any changes before leaving. But it was perfect and no change needed! It’s always busy inside here but there are also outdoor seats if you need a quieter spot. Parking is free at the plaza across (with a time limit of course). Pricing here is average. $5.50 something for a small."

Philz personalized 30 unique blends and wanted to make sure the coffee making process embodied a personal and social feel, so he designed his own coffee station allowing for every cup to be crafted one cup at a time. This location is awesome , Philz supports local artist to allow them to display their artworks in his store.. When you walk in to the store, you can smell the coffee, enjoy the varieties of the bread and loving in this artistic environment."
