"I live nearby this little café and had been in before for one of their amazing sandwiches—the chicken sandwich is especially delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I decided to stop by again on a Tuesday evening. To my surprise, they were open for dinner and offering a Taco Tuesday special menu. I tried the three chicken street tacos, and they were absolutely outstanding. I don’t recommend places lightly—as someone who was taught traditional, family-style cooking by a local from Michoacán, I can be a tough critic. But these tacos? Each bite was a beautifully balanced blend of subtle yet distinctive flavors—fresh, creative, and clearly crafted with care. Hats off to the chef for such thoughtful execution. I came home and told my family, “You HAVE to go try these tacos!” Truly a hidden gem worth discovering."

"This family owned Cafe is a hidden gem. The owners have just opened the doors and are putting in tons of effort to craft a perfect place to come and chill at Lake Nacamiento. We had breakfast burritos and loved them so much we bought sandwiches for lunch "to go". My wife had a coffee drink she thought was amazing and so she bought a second cup. Now she's been up all night! Lol. But it's because she thought Kat made such a good drink that she couldn't resist. I had an Americano with a chorizo breakfast burrito which normally I avoid due to so much grease but Taryn made these perfectly without the unnecessary grease. The flavors here are amazing, with fresh homemade salsa that is so good we asked to buy a bottle. (Not available yet but we hope will be coming soon). But all of that is nothing compared to the kindness, joy, and purely genuine love of the craft that you get as a vibe from owners Taryn and Kat. You can just tell how much they are loving their new business and how excited they are at being able to bring happiness to people who love their food. We heartily recommend Lake Life Cafe! But be warned, the vibe here is extremely addicting!"

"If you’re up at the lake, you have to stop by the café! Whether it’s just to get a nice coffee and look at all the local art in there or getting some breakfast it’s always a wonderful time in there! Also taco Tuesday is bomb if you haven’t joined, you’re missing out"

"This place ain’t gonna make it for numerous reasons. The 2 “ladies” working behind the counter were extremely rude for my first time being there. The food took way too long to serve and the food was mediocre at best. Not to mention they were out for a cigarette break when I arrived. Just a trashy establishment all together not to mention they have the most wonky hours, always closed. They won’t make it long, I’m hoping something better comes along, cuz this ain’t it! I won’t be back that’s for sure."
