What People Are Saying
from Google"We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. We rented out the conference room and had an intimate dinner for 15. The ambience of the space was absolutely perfect. The staff was very helpful and we were able to use the TV to show a slideshow for our party. Having the café attached was very useful for cleanup and it added to the ambience and to the beautiful aesthetic for our party, we rented rooms for our celebration And they were nothing less than perfect. Very quirky and very cute with a unique Feel. This is definitely a boutique hotel with lots to offer at an affordable price. We would highly recommend staying here and also having a small intimate gathering for 20 or less. They worked with our caterer to make sure that everything was perfect. Confirming the space for him and the set up."
"We’ve stayed in various spots in the Valley but none have been lovelier than Metro. Arrived late to the most beautifully decorated home. This hotel feels like you’re staying with family in the best way. The bed was so comfortable. The bathtub was lovely. Loved the nightstand goose. Wished we could have taken advantage of the all you can eat crepe breakfast. Just a delight. Will come back again - if you’re on the fence, stay here , it’s an utter treat."
"Transport yourself to Paris at the Metro Hotel, where the rooms and common areas are all outfitted with charming vintage decor (clawfoot tubs and classroom maps, for example) that truly makes you feel like you’re in France. The French atmosphere even extends to the soundscape, as French radio plays in the breakfast area/cafe all day. The staff was always friendly, and the freshening of our room during a 2-day stay was a pleasant surprise. I do wish the in-room espresso pods were complimentary (as is the custom in France), but that’s my only complaint. Though the breakfast includes coffee and crepes, and is pretty reasonably priced. Parking is free, and it’s a short walk into the main downtown strip. Can’t wait to return!"
"Loved our stay here for a few nights. Great location. Super comfy beds. Accidentally called the wrong number (meant for emergencies if emergency line doesn’t answer) and the owner answered on Xmas eve. We offered to call the correct number but they insisted helping us figure out the tv. Turned out, it got unplugged during cleaning haha. Breakfast was simple and freshly made. Only critique is that the coffee is “make it yourself” if breakfast hasn’t started, but on an early day there was no more ground beans and the large bag to grind was empty. The expresso pods in the room are $3 so we just went to Starbucks. In room fridge is for the mini bar, which is well stocked but they have a fridge for guests to share in the cafe. Cafe is only open for guests and guests can use it at all hours (minus super late night - no hanging). Cafe service is only during breakfast. All staff was super nice. Really enjoyed our stay. Beds were extra cozy, shower was like being under a heavy heavy waterfall. Would stay again! They also allowed us to change our dates last minute without a fee. Had to move around our trip due to the storm, and one hotel was super hard to deal with. Dealing with metro was refreshing!"
"Completely charming! We stayed only one night at the delightfully quirky Hotel Metro..like a Wes Anderson fever dream of a Parisian hotel channeled through Roadside America. Staff and accommodations were both great and its walking distance (10 minutes) to the vintage downtown of Petaluma. Loved it."
