"My daughter is a professor at LMC and on her work days, she's gets her lunch from Nick's Sandwiches. I visited for the first time and found it to be delicious. You can get any type of sandwich you want made or get one of their speciality sandwiches. The service was quick, friendly and they provided excellent customer service, which is becoming more and more rare. The next time you are in downtown Pittsburg, and feel like a sandwich, come here. You won't be disappointed."

"My Cali Club didn’t even have the cheese it was supposed to, there’s no cheese at all.Bacon is pretty much raw. Customer service sucks, bad attitude and all she had to do was give me my door dash order. No thank you, no welcome in, no how can I help you. Definitely will go to johnnys on the next block going forward. First and last time!"

"Update Review: After my first in-store visit, it's been all DoorDash since. Still not much selection but I'm content with the Cali Club, in fact, I might say it's gotten tastier over time. Today I tried the soup of the day and it was good, the side of sourdough bread was extra sweet. I was bummed to hear the store got vandalized (again), ugh! I will continue to support them, Godspeed! a year ago: Recently moved to the area so I’m trying out the local cuisine, and you always need a good sandwich spot! Gave this spot a try based on the reviews. Gave them a call ahead of time and the staff was helpful and friendly. Not so impressed by the sandwiches selection; I’d love to see more options, but I am pleased they have Dutch crunch bread. I tried the Cali Club, I tried it toasted; they do not skimp on the ingredients here, my sandwich was a handful, and the Stinky Sauce is the real winner! The bacon can definitely be crispier. Inside of the location isn’t much to write about. It’s in the downtown area so parking isn’t that great. I look forward to coming back and sharing this food with the rest of my family."

"This is a really nice little sandwich shop in old Pittsburg. Nice selection of sandwiches and some salads. They also have different coffees. Always see cops eating here. There's a little dining area on the street as well. Service is a little brusque but I can take it. They can be busy around lunch time. A good Reuben sandwich. A great vegetarian sandwich."

"Growing up you get to experience different restaurants and get to see the small details that show a great place to dine before you even get to walk in the door. When it comes to sandwich shops you can always tell a great spot if the door is open and you can hear the atmosphere of the shop trickling out from customers laughing and talking with the employees to employees calling people up and asking who is next up. Nicks Sandwiches gives you that good ole sandwich shop feel. Great atmosphere, clean and modern interior, and a great menu to select from. That includes sandwiches of course along with some pastries and a good size coffee menu. Due to the small location it’s only take out but easily looked over with outdoor seating just a few steps away. The best part is they cater so if you have a party, event, meeting, or need to feed a lot of peeps they have options. The food is family budget friendly and portions are spot on for what you pay. My daughter ordered a custom sandwich that lasted her two meals, while my wife ordered a Green Goddess added chicken that I took a bite of and tasted great also lasted her two meals. For me I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu with everything on it and has officially become my go too Sandwich that did NOT last me two meals haha! Now the one thing you cannot pass on is The Fire Sauce and Stinky Sauce. There are no words to explain the amazing ness these sauces add to the food. Overall Nicks Sandwiches hands down will be one of my families go to spots with great fresh food at a good price, feel good atmosphere and the modern clean look I’m sure that will be true for many others."

"The best veggie sandwich-Green Goddess. I forgot to order my sandwich without mustard, however, the freshness of the veggies made the mustard's flavor..."
