"It was my first time going to 85°c bakery and I was underwhelmed. It just seemed like a regular bakery to me, although locals absolutely rave about it and I even encountered a customer who traveled from Adelanto CA. The location is easy to get to and easy to find. The ambiance is simple and bright with a simple grab and pay method with cakes and pastries being held behind the counter. You can grab the fresh baked goods yourself and pay at the register. I ordered the cream cheese pastry, a cinnamon roll, and almond halfmoon bread which tasted odd odd odd. But the cream cheese pastry was divine just the right amount of sweet, not overpowering like other places. I would come back for the cream cheese pastry and to try knew things IF I'm in the AREA."

"I bought a birthday cake yesterday and only opened it right before cutting it. To my surprise, the cake was already damaged, a big piece was clearly messed up. I first checked the box carefully, and it was completely clean, which means the cake wasn’t damaged during transport. It must have happened when the staff packed it. What’s most disappointing is that the damage was obvious, there’s no way they didn’t notice it, yet they still chose to give it to me like that. This was a birthday cake that a child had been so excited about, and seeing it in that condition was really upsetting. Very disappointed with this experience."
