What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I've had this on my list of places to try for quite a while, and I was finally able to stop in yesterday. It is a rather small place, but I greeted the gentleman behind the counter... and... he wasn't UNfriendly... but he definitely wasn't friendly either. It's a little off-putting for me to feel like I'm disturbing someone by patroning their establishment, number one. Number two, the cold brew I ordered tasted like liquid sushi to me. I couldn't drink it. However, the blueberry "poptart" I got was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, nothing about my visit made me want to try it again, even though I may have just caught them at a bad time. I'll stick with my go-tos that are always good and friendly, Landmark Coffee, and The Meek House. Oh, and Stell Coffee too. All better than this place, for sure."
"I was in downtown Redlands looking for a perfect little coffee shop to try other then the monotonous Starbucks and related variety shops. 30 minutes spent on Google maps reading through reviews, I settled on apostle brew. And let me start by saying..... WTH.... Am I at the same place all these positive reviews or tied to or is there a disconnect between them and me. The barista if you can call him that was not very friendly at all, not attentive, or carrying what so ever, very dull no energy.... Example, I came in looking around without my glasses and asked for a menu and he just pointed to the obvious trifold incased menu in front of me at my waist level as if I didn't see it already and in need of something/anything else. So I spent 10 minutes struggling to read this little menu with very few options to begin with and no assistance from this man. The shop looks like a front for something else, it does not have a codfee, café vibe at all.... There were more deliveries than customers coming in. And the coffee was average at best, as I sit here typing this the only aroma I smell here is of burnt coffee beans. Over all extremely disappointed, your online presence sets new customers up for to high of expectations all the way around, even if the coffee were improved, the atmosphere is an easy fix but yet still needs fixing(inside and out), the service needs more service (a smile, some energy and some dialogue would go a long way) and the food... I don't know you guys definitely need a whole new make over, from display, to options and promotions. Unless it's a front.... As I said earlier, then your on point( believable, minimal investment and overhead, perfect cash business model great accounting flexibility) and in that case don't change a thing except shoot me a DM."
"This is a solid coffee shop with unique flavors. I'm a big coffee person but I love their Windowsill hot tea. They also have a delicious pastries from local bakeries rotating throughout the week."
"Small, super clean and shiny little coffee shop that’s a little hard to spot until you know it’s there. Had my standard Americano with a protein bar before my workout. Good music. Nice view out window. Nice owners. Cute little merch corner. You can order coffee beans for pick up using a QR code I’m including in the photos. Coffee is tasty! No food menu, which IMO leaves them free to focus on the coffee."
"If you’re on the hunt for good coffee this is your spot! I look forward to every start of the new season to work my way through the seasonal menu. All of their syrups are house made and so delicious (you won’t find a bottle of Torani in sight 😉) Hands down one of my favorite spots in Redlands"
"Guys I WANT so badly to love apostle brew, and it has some great things going for it. Pros: usually has seating available, coffee flavors are fun. Bathroom..."
