"My wife heard about this place and wanted to come try it. So, we took our daughter there and it was nothing short of amazing. The interior was decorated from floor to ceiling, the outside had beautiful artwork and the details were definitely thought of. This place exudes Hispanic, Latino, Latina heritage. Not sure if because Dia De Los Muertos was the next day or not (reason for the immense decorations, but it was an awesome atmosphere and vibe. Food was outstanding, drinks were on point and reminiscent of what my wife says she grew up on."

The whole space has personality: there are artistic touches and unexpected design elements that make you want to look around and take it all in. It doesn’t feel like a cookie-cutter café — every corner seems to have its own little detail, whether it’s a bold color choice, an unusual light fixture, or eclectic artwork. It’s cozy but vibrant, and the setting transforms a simple coffee stop into a little mini-escape from the usual. Service was warm and friendly. Staff were attentive without hovering; they answered questions about the menu and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The pace of service felt unhurried, which matched the calm vibe of the place and made it easy to relax and linger. A practical note: parking was no hassle because there’s a parking structure nearby. I didn’t have to circle blocks or stress about street meters, which made the visit much more peaceful from the start. If you’re driving, I’d recommend using that structure — it took away one of the common annoyances of city dining and let us focus on enjoying the visit. Overall, Con Azúcar Café is a wonderful spot for anyone who likes creative food and drinks, beautiful interiors, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re meeting a friend, working on your laptop for a while, or treating yourself to a nice latte and something tasty, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu and to take more photos of that gorgeous decor. Highly recommend checking it out — especially if you appreciate a cafe with character and a menu that’s a little bit adventurous."

"I stopped by during opening weekend and the line was carzy, I was told it would be about 1 hr or so to go in so I left. I came back a few weeks after and although there was a wait time, it wasn't that bad. The place is cute, colorful with cute details. They do not valite parking which to me is not good considering how pricy their items are. I mean $40 for the gigante concha?. I wanted café de la olla hot and was told early that morning that they didnt have any as the person who makes it was not in 🤔. I ordered the café the olla en las rocas which was the only good one. I got the Macha horchata and was a NO. I got a brown sugar espresso, not my fav. A hot latte that wasn't the best either. The food was decent but not the best. The avocado toast was overwhelming with the amount of avocado. If I am around the area, I may go back for the ice café de la olla but I will definitely not make an effort to go. I know I can get better drinks and food at other places with decent prices and without paying for parking."
