What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Very nice local artisanal coffee spot. Found it while at the Saturday farmers market. Spacious area with good light, open ceilings, brick walls, wood and metal tables with stools and Adirondack chairs. Areas for groups with a long community tables plus a boardroom available to rent. Good coffee deal: 3 bags for $50 + free drink."
"I will not be going back here and it’s all because of this $40 cup. I bought this because I told that I would get a discount on my latte (the 4 shot for the price of the 2 shot) which less than $1 discount but at this point it’s the principle. I’ve been getting this latte almost everyday at the J street location. And started getting them at this midtown location (close to home) when I go to gym. Imagine my surprise when the midtown location informed me that I don’t get a discount with the cup??? I asked them to double check b/c the J st location is still giving me the discount. Not only did the midtown inform me that they are not giving me the discount, the barista seemed annoyed that I asked again and served me a scalding hot latte. I went back in afternoon to ask for a manager to get some clarification about why to two locations have different policies and was told the manager was not available “in a meeting to be fair”. So clearly, my BLACK business is not wanted at this place. It was extremely disappointing. I won’t be back. I can buy $8 latte at another local coffee shop that will be honest and nicer to their customers."
"First time checking this place out. First, the coffee is delicious! I bought a Maple Expresso coffee. The location is nice and clean. Has it's own style. The staff was very nice and conversational (not sure if he was the owner or not). Big location, plenty of space to sit and hang out. Good lighting. I could see myself hanging out here and doing school work while sipping on one of their many drinks. I would definitely recommend this place."
"When you think of most coffee shops I’m sure you picture folks in there with their laptops working on some sort of project that requires access to the internet. Their internet seems to frequent issues with connectivity and when you ask the front staff they appear to be aware but say there’s nothing they can do about it because they don’t control the internet but it happens often. The issue isn’t necessarily their control but more so that this seems to be an ongoing issue without being addressed by management? Anyways, sadly ordered and had to leave to find another suitable shop to work."
"Visited this location several times and have consistently enjoyed my drinks and the atmosphere. The baristas are kind and helpful. I do wish there was a couch or more softer searing but whatever the coffee is great. Even the latte was excellent, not too milky. I usually get a cappuccino, but the chai and mocha are also great. Would recommend to study here, usually quiet here in the evening and they close at 7."
"I stopped by Pachamama Coffee in Midtown to look for Peruvian coffee beans as a gift. I ended up buying a different blend and loved that they include a free..."
