"I was so impressed by the spot in Salinas near the Steinbeck center. It is very hard to find good gluten-free bread at any restaurant let alone the option in general. I had the tuna out and it was fantastic! They have American style options with some flair. Great decor, and very fair prices. I will be back!"

"So Portobello's I haven't been to in a long time and they've come a long way. I came because somebody was singing live music and I can honestly say Portobello's is fantastic. I ordered the money Burger which was recommended by Ronnie who was our wonderful server thank you Ronnie you're fabulous. Our table also ordered and I have a picture of the salmon sandwich and I think the Cuban and they were all fabulous thank you so much again Ronnie you you are fabulous"

"My 3 star is solely based off food. I ordered the 222, eggs scrambled soft, bacon and French toast. Now it's very possible I missed it on the description, but I had ZERO idea they made their French toast with raisin bread or I would never have ordered it. Having to pick at my food for every bite was not the business. Eggs were not soft and my bacon way too hard. Other than the French toast, the rest isn't enough to keep me from trying something else on the menu. I love the atmosphere, music was overpowering, they have a full bar and it's a great location right on Main"

"The food was good’ish. Not great nor bad. The sausages are perfect and the rest is fine. The service, while friendly, was spotty in regards to attention. I get the feeling that they are understaffed?? 🤷‍♂️ Either that or maybe it was just our experience."
