"We were in town for an overnight trip and we're looking for a great spot for a good breakfast. We did some searching on Google and found this place and said that it had some good reviews. We decided to give it a shot and the second I saw it and we walked in I knew it was my kind of place. Cozy, quaint, good energy and definitely felt like a good surf spot cafe. The staff was all smiles when we walked in and they came around and told my wife that they liked her coat. They have a lot to choose from in terms of breakfast but I stuck to standard Bacon, eggs, pancakes, hash browns and I got a side of biscuits and gravy. My wife got an omelet and it was gigantic! The food was great and the service was fantastic and we never needed anything because they were right there on top of it. We got some sincere "thank you for coming in" wishes on our way out and it's definitely a place that we would stop again when we go back to San Clemente. They have fresh tortillas and fresh salsa too by the way which is a nice added bonus! I was hoping they had some flavored creamers for the coffee, but that's not a big enough issue for me to complain about it. Overall, everything was great and we will be back."

"Hello, this is your standard donut shop although the donuts are very good and I appreciated that they let us know when they had fresh ham and cheese croissants out the oven. It was pretty bustling on a Sunday morning. The coffee is not fancy and they don't carry any sugar-free syrup or sweet and low/sugar substitute but all in all you go here for a doughnut and you'll get a great one."
