We ordered the crudo, prosciutto cotto, tuna sandwich, ricotta toast, and the vegetable sandwich, and every single dish was a hit—fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. Everyone in our group loved their food, which almost never happens. On top of that, the employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back."

"Super chill vibe. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food is on point, but it would really help to add a menu at the door area, as a line builds up and you only find the menus at the ordering register. This gives you no time to look over all of the choices, so you feel rushed to quickly make a choice when people are patiently waiting behind you. Would definitely recommend."

"We first learned about Bica while at the Dockside Market event at the Embarcadero, where we met Charlie and Manny and saw their pass for food, drink, service, and connecting with people. We dined in for dinner at Bica 2 days later and enjoyed some of the most amazing, ultra fresh, and creative dishes. Many people only stop in for a quick coffee, which is also great with unique options, but whatever you do, do miss skip a quick bite. We’ve also been in for Industry night and enjoyed collabs with some of San Diego’s best chefs doing pop up menus. We had a great brunch spread today that included the smoked fish platter (salmon, albacore, anchovy, pickles, pickled onion, herb cream cheese, micro greens/sprouts, capers, and an assortment of fresh baked breads to make your own creations. The bread and butter with persimmon jam was out of this world with creamy butter paired with the sweet fruit jam flavored with fall spice flavors. Great sandos with both tuna and prosciutto. The staff/owners/chefs are always friendly and welcoming and love to chat about the food, and like you’ve known them in the neighborhood forever. This place may still be a bit of a hidden gem, but not for long, I promise."
