The friendly staff took my ordered, a cup of coffe. They took a moment to freshly prepared my drink, a delightful surprise. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. I was part of a group of five, so we sat outside, where we enjoyed the weather and the city. Next time you are in downtown San Diego, you may want to enjoy a moment at Blue Bottle Coffee."

"Theres absolutely no reason for it to be this expensive. 6.75$ for a latte, the coffee felt too roasted and bitter, which is not what you expect from a specialty coffee. Also it wasnt greatly made either, too hot and too airy, but this would be fine if it was good😅"

"Since its downtown, parking can be a bit hectic. Place itself is spacious inside with lots of seating. They have an assortment of pastries along with a good coffee menu. Got the cafe latte with regular milk. Pretty solid, nothing spectacular. It’s a big overpriced compared to other local coffee shops with better coffee but based on location is expected."

Shane greeted me with a genuine smile first thing in the morning, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. I came back the next day… and then basically every day while I was in San Diego. Every visit was consistently positive — the coffee was top-notch, and the entire team was polite and welcoming. On my third visit, Shane remembered my name and my regular order — and even surprised me with my coffee on the house. That kind of personal touch really made my day and left a lasting impression.
