"My husband and I were visiting San Diego and staying in a nearby hotel when we found Capri Cafe for our first breakfast of the trip. The food was outstanding and the young women who work there are sweet and friendly. We wound up going there for all of our breakfasts. You should really try this unique place for the food and the exceptional coffee drinks they offer. We Miss you Cafe Capri !"

"Small, unpretentious café with a true mom-and-pop feel. Nothing fancy, just simple, classic, and genuinely delicious. We had a hot caramel green apple latte, an iced gingerbread cookie latte, and two different roast beef sandwiches. The coffee was excellent, smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet or artificial. The roast beef sandwiches were hearty and very satisfying. Service was a bit slow, but only because there were just two people handling both orders and food, and they did a great job. A great, comforting start to the day."

"On our way to our cruise ship, we stopped at this awesome cafe. Coffee & food are delicious; the ladies are friendly & accommodating! We liked it so much that when we returned from our cruise, this cafe was the first place we stopped. Enjoyed their coffee & ordered sandwiches to eat at the airport. Delicious!!! A fun note: they have a special treat for dogs: “pup cup”!! This would be our go-to place if we lived in San Diego!!! Thanks, Anna!!!"

"We had a wonderful experience there before our cruise! We liked it so much we had to go back after our cruise before going to the airport. Had coffee drinks and sandwiches on jalapeño bagels. The ladies that work there are as good as the food. We had a great visit with Anna who made us our outstanding sandwiches and was so engaging to visit with!! We look forward to returning to San Diego and a meal or two with Anna at the Capri Cafe! It is a don’t miss stop for a sandwich, coffee, bakery goods, great service and nice conversation with Anna!!!"

"This place makes me smile every time I walk by it. They took a previously unactivated space in Little Italy and turned it into something so cute that makes the boring, shaded block truly sparkle. I love seeing what color they decide to make the lights each day. I can't really speak for the coffee, but their sandwiches are ginormous and so good and they have so many delicious pastries. And the service is always very friendly!"
