from Google & Yelp"Yummy milk tea from Ding Tea in Kearny Mesa! We enjoyed the brown sugar and strawberry flavors with boba. Friendly and quick service. Really nice environment, great place to hang out with friends. Recommend!"
"Ngl, don't normally leave reviews but this one actually bussin. I asked the lil boba artist about the Ube and she said it was the best.. I went with it cause.. yeah I went with it and yo this shit is on point. Nutty coffee notes hitting with the Ube after taste. Pretty strong too, du. Good job. Lol this the best photo you getting. Go try it"
"Good atmosphere, drinks, and service. I needed to burn some time and this was perfect. Ordered brown sugar milk tea with half sugar and it had flavor without being too sweet. They have metal chairs but also a couple of couches. One couch has a big table which was perfect for me as I did some crafting while I was there. Would go again."
"My 14-year-old daughter was so excited to come here specifically for the Signature Combo Bubble Waffle. We live all the way in San Marcos and made the drive because other Ding Tea locations don’t offer this item. When our order came out, it was not a bubble waffle—just a regular waffle, with much less Nutella than usual. When we asked about it, we were casually told that the bubble waffle maker was broken. No apology. No explanation beforehand. Just indifference. They should have told us before we ordered, especially since that was the entire reason we came. The lack of communication and customer service was really disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience makes us not want to come back."
"Although this is the closest Ding Tea to me, I'd rather go to any other boba shop in the area. The Customer Service is ALWAYS lacking. I don't think I've gone once and had a pleasant experience. Today I went at 12:30 PM (Sunday, October 19th) and a lady with a medium-length black bob appeared at the register. I wouldn't say that she "greeted" me. More like, she looked at me expectantly in a somewhat cheerful way, but probably closer to neutral. That's fine, I guess. Basically the way I expect to be treated these days, especially by the younger generation. I did compliment her, though, which was met with complete silence. I kind of got the impression that perhaps English wasn't her first language and maybe she didn't quite understand what I meant. But whatever. She proceeded to take my order like normal and said it would be ready soon. I didn't hear them call out my order to say that it was ready, which should have been evident since I was the only other person inside the store. Management: Please train your front-of-house staff to be more inviting. That's a main part of how you keep customers!"
"This place is so cute! There have plenty of things to do in the store, not only do they have claw machines but they also have board games and a foosball..."
