"We were looking for a nice place to have some coffee and dessert with friends, so I chose this place. What first caught my eye was the unique design and the high rating. To be honest, I really liked it. The interior is full of interesting elements and cozy vibes — lots of books, creative decor, and thoughtful details. Overall, the atmosphere was truly charming. The service was lovely. The girl who helped us was very attentive — she asked about our drink preferences (whether we like it sweet or not), explained the desserts, and even checked in later to see if we liked everything. She mentioned they’re using a new matcha powder, so she was curious about my thoughts. That made the experience feel more personal and welcoming. The desserts were delicious. We had a cheesecake and another one with pistachios (I can’t remember the name), and both were genuinely tasty. I had an iced matcha latte and really enjoyed it. My friends had coffee — it was okay. I wouldn’t say it was exceptional or super memorable, but it was okay. Overall, I left with a very positive impression. Maybe I would’ve liked the coffee to be a bit better, but compared to many other places, I was still satisfied. I’d be happy to come back again. Whenever I travel, I love supporting local spots, and this one did not disappoint. From the barista to the owners, the customer service was warm, genuine, and exceptional. I’m not usually a sweet coffee drinker—I like my espresso strong and black—so I ordered an Americano, still not sweet—and it was phenomenal. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. They truly have something for everyone, no matter your coffee style. The atmosphere is unique and inviting, giving off cozy French countryside café vibes that make you want to stay awhile. You leave not just fueled with great coffee, but filled with good energy and good vibes. For me, this is a 10/10, highly recommend kind of place. If you’re in San Diego, don’t miss it!"

"The aesthetics of the café were great and well-designed but that’s about it. The latte didn’t taste like a latte at all, and I couldn’t even finish it. The chocolate croissant wasn’t fresh either. I had asked for it to be warmed up, but it didn’t seem like it was. I came in right before closing, so not sure if that was the reason for the quality. The croissant was the only one left. Considering the other good reviews, this visit was disappointing."
