Hannah MacDonald did face painting (fiftyone_faces) and was extremely kind and compassionate with all of our kiddos. The personalized coozies was a great idea! I love getting to drink from a for-here-cup."

"Great addition to this area. Good coffee, nice and calm place to sit and work with lots of parking. Seats are not the most comfortable especially the stools. WiFi was not working but hopefully juat a one time thing. Coffee as with all James was good!"

"I did not know that there was a Jame's Coffee in North County, San Diego. I was happy to find them while I was in the area. I picked up a cortado and a gluten-free pumpkin muffin while I was here. The cortado was well made. It was smooth and rich in coffee flavor. I was very pleased that they served in the proper gibraltar glass. The pumpkin muffin was excellent. It offered a great soft texture and nice pumpkin flavor and a subtle spice flavor. The service at the counter was very friendly. When I arrived, there were several tables that had debris from previous visitors, but they quickly cleaned the tables after I mentioned it. There's a very good amount of parking at this location. They offer inside and outside seating."

"I like go to local coffee shops and sit in a nice atmosphere and work on my laptop. I can make a decent Lavazza espresso at home, so I pay for the overall experience. I discovered James Coffee recently and it was 5-stars the first visit. Exceptional roast and nice environment. Was excited to come back, but this 70-minute visit has been fiddling with trying to get online. It seems to me that the issue is not the service provider and a local WiFi router problem. It connects but drops. There are 2 or 3 other patrons on laptops before I came in. I doubt all are using hotspots, so it might be that the router is throttling users/ bandwidth. Staff mentioned WiFi has been an issue, although my first 2+ hour visit had none. I'm disappointed because now I have to search for a new place for coffee. Would love to give it another chance if they want to address the issue, but I otherwise can't visit another James Coffee Co."
